We're all excited and waiting on tender hooks for the full return of The Sims Social to Facebook. While the developers at EA and Playfish fine tune the few connection problems and get the game back online. Let's have a look at two special items.
If you subscribed to The Sims Social Newsletter in the last two months then yesterday you should have received a very special email stating that The Sims Social had been released and you could be the proud owner of the first limited edition exclusive item from the game. A Welcome Mat. If you have not claimed it yet, we urge you to please wait until the game is back up and running before claiming just to make sure it definitely applies to your game.

Also yesterday, not only did the game briefly launch, but The Sims Social Facebook page reached over 1,250,000 'Likes' and Neukem Classic Guitar became available. Which leads of nicely on to the 1,500,000 'More To Like' item, and it's beautiful. It's not the Rainbow or Swimming Pool we presumed but something completely different. The Llamark Chillblast Fridge in all of it's orange colourful glory. We don't expect this to take that long to unlock, as we're sure once The Sims Social community begins flooding friends feeds with updates that word will quickly spread to the people not in the know!
