However we do know that some of the Expiry Dates have been tested on a few Halloween Items and also The Limited Edition The Sims Social Poster but they don't look like they are going yet. As we understand it some really specific Halloween items will go but the none specific items may stay but it's still not official. It's Halloween today and afterwards most of us will say goodbye to our collection of the last four weeks Special Seasonal Halloween Items in The Sims Social. Each week us here at The Sims Social Fansite have tried to filter out the best creepy items from The Sims Social store that will give you some form of advantage in game play amongst the more beautiful and unique decorations in our weekly 'Fansite Picks''. As Halloween draws to a close we thought we would sift through those and pick out the Top 10 Halloween Items:
10 - Trans-Van Turn
The Trans-Van Turn is one of the better beds released since launch and will only set you back 2000 Social Points which will in turn raise your House Value by +5350. The Trans-Van Turn doesn't have to be put away when Halloween passes by either as with the right bedroom decor this grand bed can look stylish and cool all year round.
9 - Witch's Broomstick
Arriving just before the close of Halloween, again the Witch's Broomstick will look just fine in your kitchen after Halloween if you have that homely cottage feel to your The Sims Social house. With a cool 'Hop On' action to raise your 'Fun' need and a low price tag of 1750 Simoleons it's a bargain. You can also raise your 'Hygiene' need if you are desperate at the cost of 1 Energy. Overall we love it for it's animation.
8 - Haunted TV
The Haunted TV has been around for a couple of weeks but its grand style and creepy animations places it in our Top 10 Halloween Items this year. It doesn't do much more than any other TV in The Sims Social but for 1500 Simoleons it's a steal. It'll raise your 'Fun' need and if you flick it over to the special 'Horror Channel' you can scare your Sim so much that they'll need to wee! If you've been completing the Halloween Quests then you'll have this. It won't neccesarily need to be put away after this spooky season because it could fit the right home all year round or be placed in storage until next year.
7 - Haunted Organ
The Haunted Organ will allow you to Level Up some more Skills as part of the special seasonal Halloween Skill Items. There were four this year with two making our Top 10 including this Music Skill object. It has some cool animations and music when playing it and it really is a show piece in your home. Once you unlock all of the Skill Levels to The Haunted Organ you'll unlock an even snazzier Gold Inferno Organ. Plus it adds 5200 House Value.
6 - MSS Well Of Fear
The MSS Well of Fear will cost you 500 Social Points but it will last you all year round as well as adding 1150 House Value. It is a brilliant item to raise your 'Sleep' need whilst at a distance from your bed and adds some pretty creepy animations too. We don't think it'll be in everyone's Top 10 but we think it's unique and adds a touch of class to any garden.
5 - Thingymajig
Need to raise some 'Fun' with a crazy mad scientist device? Then you need a Thingymajig... obviously! This item we feel has been overlooked by many players. It won't stand the test of time out of season unless you have a brilliantly creative mind or are a tad bonkers but it will raise your 'Fun' need with a simple zap. It's a tad more costly but it's unique and our writers love it!
4 - MSS Hoojamaflip
Team this item with the Thingymajig and they make the perfect couple, like two zombie peas in a zombie pod. Again if you've been completing your Halloween Quests then you'll own one of these handy pieces of machinery. It will definitely become a Rare item in the future as it's a Quest Exclusive plus will add a very modest 3050 to your House Value. The best part comes when your Sim is completely shattered but with one tiny zap he will be wide awake!
3 - Haunted Easel
You'd be mad not to own The Haunted Easel. It had a few problems when first released but with it you can gain some Exclusive Halloween Items that come in the form of spooky paintings that can only be unlocked when you Skill Up your Halloween 'Painting' Skill with this Easel. Just like the Haunted Organ you'll also unlock a Limited Edition Gold Inferno version after you've earned some valuable Simoleons from it. Your The Sims Social art room needs this item.
2 - Sunflower
Not released into The Sims Social store, The Sunflower was a gift from EA's other Facebook game 'Plants Vs Zombies' for reaching a Facebook 'Like' benchmark. It makes some amazing noises, is very cute and will allow you to 'Cultivate' to raise 'Fun' and at the cost of 1 Energy can raise that important 'Social' need. Plus it will be very hard to fall upon later in time.
1 - L.Simnovorii
In at our Number one for The Sims Social Halloween Items Top 10 is a Crazy Cow Plant... who would have thought it! Loads of reasons to buy this one, it's cheap at 500 Social Points, it's one of the most unique items in The Sims Social at the moment, you can raise your 'Fun' need with it and for Free you can also raise that important 'Social' need which is a rarity. It has some amazing animations but the problem lies in what your going to do with it after Halloween? Sit him next to 'Sunflower' in your pretty garden and it's a match made in heaven.

Over the last couple of weeks many The Sims Social Facebook Pages, Fansites and blogs have been inundated with offers of posts offering Free SimCash or Millions of Simoleons from EA if you visit their page and share the links with others via Facebook or on popular The Sims Social groups and Fansites like ours. We know many of you know this already but these are all Scams and you will not receive any Free Items, SimCash or Simoleons for doing it, these sites are just wanting traffic and surveys to be completed so they can earn money. Here is an example of one, however they do come in many different forms and websites:
Just to reiterate, these are SCAMS and you will never be awarded Free SimCash via them, even if they say they are officially from EA it is not true! Please be aware that there are a few legit The Sims Social websites out their, like this one that will never feed you false promises or make you complete surveys or spread links like the one above.

Higher Storage Limit and Level 50+

So the very first Special Season (Halloween) is about to pass us by and we head for another, with Christmas only around the corner. One problem that many The Sims Social players are facing however is that their storage has become full and the 500 maximum items has been reached. With your Halloween items still sitting spookily in your home, in around 3 days they are going to need to be put away to storage for next year. One problem! Your storage is completely full and you've paid good money for SimCash items and saved for weeks for those highly priced Social Points items.
The Sims Social players need more storage, especially before the Christmas items begin to show their faces in the online Facebook game. We haven't had any information from the developers on this so far, but we hope they are listening to The Sims Social hardcore players and we see this 500 items storage limit raised in the near future.
Another big game feature being asked for is the maximum Level Cap of 50 to also be raised. We know that once you get to Level 50 in The Sims Social that XP continues to accumulate, so when / if the Level 50 Cap is raised your level should jump in relation to the XP banked from before the cap. We hope this update arrives soon, as their is nothing more satisfying in The Sims Social or any online Facebook game than Levelling Up your character.

Seeing as Bella has been changing her home every week with the new updates lately. We've decided to start a new section called 'The Houses of Bella' which we will keep a database of how her home has changed from week to week and how she decides to showcase the new items and clothing for that week.

More Blue Circle Loading Errors " The Spins Social "

Since the latest Halloween Bash updates it seems the dreaded blue circles of doom have returned and with a vengeance. There is many scary things in The Sims Social at the moment but the most terrifying for any The Sims Social player is undoubtedly the Blue Circles of Doom. If you are not au fait with these annoying turning circles then you are one of the lucky ones. They basically appear when items within your The Sims Social home or Neighbours homes are loading however for most the items never fully load and the Blue Circles remain.We have posted two articles previously which can help reduce the Blue Circles from outstaying their welcome but they are no gaurentee. You can try The Blue Circles Loading Fix or alternatively The Stuck At 65% Loading Fix to delete your Cache if the first way doesn't rectify your problem. Other than this, we will just have to wait. The developers are aware of the situation and I'm sure are doing everything they can to resolve it.

You've had one day to look over the new Halloween Bash Items that dropped yesterday and complete the Happy Halloween Quest, but which of these final spooky items do we think are most worth your precious Simoleons, SimCash and Social Points? The main type of item available this week are Halloween decorations. The long awaited pumpkins have finally made an appearance in four different varieties 'Jack O'Lantern', 'Jock O'Lantern', 'Sick O'La
ntern' and 'Sack O'Lantern' that will only set you back 600 Simoleons each. Also available are a variety of Halloween snacks and refreshments, these are also needed to complete The Happy Halloween Quest but do not do much else other than provide some cool decorations for your Halloween home. They will raise your 'Hunger' need but at the cost of 1 Energy, so they do not make our The Sims Social 'Fansite Picks' this week:
Their is lots of lower priced decorations as part of The Halloween Bash drop and it really does come down to personal preference as to which suite your taste, but we'll try and provide you with the item picks that will help you that little bit further and making life a little easier whilst playing The Sims Social online Facebook game. We all now know about the last Haunted Skill Item of the Halloween season been made available for 59 SimCash and in our opinion it really isn't worth the purchase, for the price you may as well purchase the 'Jetblack 500 Microwave' for 49 SimCash in the Skill Items category which will bring you up to higher than Level 95 in the Cooking Skill. The other Halloween Bash SimCash items don't overly impress either:
Which leads us to The Halloween Bash Fansite Picks. Please bear in mind that you can store these creepy items until next year and your home will look amazing and stand out with these vintage Halloween 2011 items. The Cobwebs, Halloween Balloons and Zombie Hand won't add a whole lot of functionality to The Sims Social and the way you play but they definitely look cool and the Halloween Balloons and CobWebs can be used all year round. To raise 'Social' and 'Fun' need you have the Frankendoll which is so cute but still sends shivers down your spine and the Skull and Crossballoons for 10 SimCash will make your Halloween Party stand out from the rest and raise your House Value by +1500. The Witches Broomstick has a brilliant 'Hop On' action which will raise your 'Fun' aswell as 'Clean' that will raise 'Hygiene', it can be used all year round if your home has that cottage feel too. The 'Ghostequin' is a real stand out item that will raise 'Sleep' and relieve your 'Toilet' need and to top off our The Sims Social Fansite Picks the 'Ghoul DLux' will be a grand addition to your party room to home your Happy Halloween Quest refreshments, we think you'll also be able to bring it out for Christmas and no one will bat an eyelid!

Female Halloween Bash Clothing

In comparison to the Male Halloween Bash Clothing the girls definitely have more choice this week in terms of The Sims Social Halloween Costumes, however their is a lot more SimCash items and not one costume can be owned in full without departing with those expensive gold coins. The Sims Social has been known to be a bit more strict with the ladies over the guys when it comes to clothes and prices. The main example here is the female 'Eyepatch' costs 9 SimCash whereas the male alternative is only 5 SimCash, for the same product essentially.
The girls have four different Halloween Costumes to choose from this week as part of The Sims Social Halloween Bash week. Either an Angel, Demon, Vamp or Witch. To dress your Sim character up as a little red devil with the three Demon clothing items 'Demon Boots', 'Demon Corset, 'Demon's Horns', 'Demon's Charm' and 'Demon Wings' it will cost you a staggering 220 SimCash. You can be transformed into an Angel with the 'Angel's Halo', 'Angel's Skirt', 'Angel's Sandals' and 'Angel's Wings' for 154 SimCash and 900 Social Points.
If Vampire is the way you want to go for the remainder of Halloween in The Sims Social online Facebook game then you are lucky that if you leave out the 'Vamp's Charm' and 'Vamp's Shoes' at 110 SimCash then you can pick up the rest of the costume for 3700 Simoleons which includes 'Vamp's Skirt' and 'Vamp's Cape'.Bella's sexy Witches outfit finally arrived in The Sims Social clothing store this week as part of The Halloween Bash, but for the full outfit it will cost you 110 SimCash and 2800 Simoleons. Also just like the boys, the girls can purchase the 'Skull Face' Mask for 350 Social Points in order to complete The Happy Halloween Quest and can add some 'Scarehair' for an additional 750 Social Points where as the males could pick it up for 900 Simoleons.

If for no other reason, the Halloween Tree is worth all of the above things as it is a Free 25 SimCash item, is Limited Edition, will raise your House Value by +3700 and as most other Trees within The Sims Social online Facebook game do, it will allow you to raise 'Fun' and 'Social' needs at the cost of 1 Energy. The description of The Halloween Tree is 'Creepy enough for Halloween, stylish enough for all year round.'We don't think that is the case, however creepy it does look, after Halloween we think your The Sims Social home will look a bit odd with this GIANT purple tree outside it, by giant we mean it does take up a lot of space and placing it behind your home is probably the best place for it or it may just block the view of your home and the expensive items you have purchased inside of it.It's a welcome addition to the large selection of Halloween items provided to us by The Sims Social and we will definitely be keeping it in storage until next year! The Haunted Cauldron Halloween Skill Item

Like us, you may have been disappointed to find out that The Sims Social would not be allowing players to complete their Haunted Halloween Skill Items Collection without parting with SimCash, and a fair amount of SimCash too! Loyal readers will know that we recognise the developers need to create SimCash items to earn money to finance the game and keep it running for us all to play and we always state which SimCash items we believe are worth a purchase and which aren't. However making the final Halloween Skill Item 59 SimCash seems a little unfair. Maybe if all previous Halloween Skill Items were SimCash only it would make more sense but not just applying it to the final item.The same rules apply to The Haunted Cauldron Halloween Cooking Skill Item. Once completed you will be rewarded with a Free Cauldron Deluxe which is more detailed and gold. The Haunted Cauldron also raises the 'Fun' and 'Hunger' need and will raise your House Value by a very impressive +8700.
We will be releasing a full Skill Items directory in the coming weeks with details of every Skill Item, Ingredients needed, Earnings and Level Unlocks, which will include all four of the Halloween Skill Items and more details will be provided of the Levels and Profits available from the Haunted Cauldron, so keep checking back. Here is a quick run down of what is on offer for Male The Sims Social players this week as part of The Halloween Bash clothing drop for all of you that are reading this from work, who are out and about or you female players. Today the boys get 14 new items, the best of these being the hats in our opinion:
Two full costumes are available, the first being 'The Skeleton Costume' which will cost you 500 Social Points for the 'Skeleton Pants' and 'Skeleton Shirt' but an additional 10 SimCash to finish the suite off with Gloves and Shoes which isn't scandalous. For some reason two Skeleton masks are available the 'Skullface' and 'Skull Too'. The Skull Face mask you will need if you want to complete the Happy Halloween Quest and will set you back only 350 Social Points but the Skull Too mask which is slightly greener is 15 SimCash, not worth it at all if you ask us.The second full costume is 'The Vampire Outfit' which is available for Simoleons and looks rather dashing. The 'Vampire Vest' and 'Vampire Cape' will damage your wallet for 4000 Simoleons with the addition of the 'Vampire Shoes' for 250 Simoleons. You could choose to team them up with the 250 Social Points 'Vampire Pants' or like us we think previous Halloween clothing 'Slashionable Pants' in red make the outfit look a lot better.
The other four extras and most fancy are the 'Brain Hat' for a ridiculously low price of 75 Social Points. Pirate 'Eyepatch' for 5 SimCash, 'Frankenstein Hat' and the 900 Simoleons 'Scarehair'. Remember you may not want to wear all of these Halloween costumes this week, but if you are still around for next Halloween how cool and retro will you look wearing some vintage The Sims Social Halloween costumes from Year 1? 4x8 - 5000 Simoleons - 2500 House Value

8x8 - 12,000 Simoleons - 6000 House Value
8x10 - 15,000 Simoleons - 7000 House Value
10x10 - 24,000 Simoleons - 10,000 House Value
The 8x6 room comes in two variations depending on how you want your house to be set out. This will give all of you The Sims Social players that little bit more to be getting on with once you have saved for your new Halloween clothing, items and finished the new Quests.

Another Thursday and another Quest, and it is apparently the last of the Halloween Quests. That is no surprise really seeing as next week will be after the 31st October. With it being the last, The Sims Social is departing its ghouls and ghosties in a big way, with a party! The Happy Halloween Quest is pretty easy all round and doesn't require many Ingredients or much help from your friends via your Facebook feed. The developers have stuck with the 4 Day time limit as with all of the previous Halloween Quests in The Sims Social and again rewarded players who complete it within this time scale an Exclusive Halloween Tree. Here is the quest Walkthrough to help you if you run into a bit of a pickle:
Neighbours Needed: 6 Minimum
Social Points Needed: 500
Simoleons Needed: 500
Ingredients Needed: 5 Toads, 5 Glass Eyes, 5 Trick & Treats, 5 Witches Hats
Objects Needed: Skull Face Mask, Phone, Fridge, Computer, Haunted Skill Items
Difficulty: 1/5
PART 1
*Type Flyers
Use your Computer to Type 5 Flyers, you can type 5 in a row.
*Spread The Word To Other Sims
Visit 3 Neighbours Houses and use action 'Spread The Word' on them
*Place Flyers on Refrigerators and Mailboxes
You can place them on your own fridge and mailbox which should leave you with 3 which you can do in conjunction with spreading the word.
PART 2
*Buy 3 Outdoor Halloween Decorations
Click 'BUY NOW' or then can found under the 'Outdoor' section. Our favourites are 2 Zombie Hands and Witches Broomstick.
*Place 3 Outdoor Halloween Decorations
Simply place the 3 outdoor decorations you purchased outside your Sims home.
*Have Toads
If you don't already have enough Toads, you can collect them from taking pictures of them in your garden or they randomly are given from Haunted Skill Items like Haunted Easel, Haunted Organ etc.
PART 3
*Buy 3 Indoor Halloween Decorations
Click 'BUY NOW' or then can found under the 'Decorations' section. There is loads to choose from and most cost under 300 Simoleons or 75 Social Points.
*Place 3 Indoor Halloween Decorations
Simply place the 3 indoor decorations you purchased in your Sims home.
*Have Glass Eyes
If you don't already have enough Glass Eyes, you can collect them from taking pictures of ghosts in your garden or they randomly are given from Haunted Skill Items like Haunted Desk, Haunted Organ etc.
PART 4
*Ask 2 Of Your Friends For Costume Suggestions

Make sure you are wearing your 'Skull Face Mask' and you can wear your 'Spectral Robe' from the Once Bitten... Quest. Visit 4 Neighbours and use the 'Trick' action on them. You can combine these visits with the other Treat Task in the same home.
*Have Trick & Treats
If you don't already have enough Trick & Treats, you can collect them from taking pictures of creepy things in your garden or they randomly are given from Haunted Skill Items like Haunted Cauldron, Haunted Easel etc.
*Wearing Your Halloween Mask and a Costume, Treat 4 Different Sims
As above with the Trick Task, Wear your 'Skull Face Mask' and a Halloween Costume and use the 'Treat' action on 4 neighbours. Do the 'Trick' and then 'Treat' action together to save time.
PART 6
*Buy 3 Halloween Refreshments
You must purchase 3 Halloween Food and Drink Items from The Sims Social store under the 'Kitchen' section. Some of the best and cheapest are Slime Pie, Eyeball Cupcakes and Halloween Punch.
*Place 3 Halloween Refreshments
Simply place the 3 Halloween Refreshments you purchased in your Sims home.
*Eat Treats with Friends
The easiest way to complete this task is to visit Bella and Eat her Halloween Refreshments like her Halloween Punch. You can do all 6 in one go without getting bored and only using 1 Energy if you want to do it quickly and not have to visit numerous neighbours.
PART 7
*Wearing Your Mask & Halloween Costume, Do A Dance With 6 Other Sims
Make sure you are wearing your 'Skull Face Mask' and visit 6 different Neighbours and perform action 'Do Halloween Dance' on them. Also try and use their phone to help complete the other Phone task and kill 2 birds with one stone.
*Have 2 Friends RSVP To An Invitation To Come And See Your Haunted House

*Phone 6 Other Sims To Tell Them About Your Party
You can only do this once per phone, try and coincide it with the above Do A Dance task to safe time and visits. You can also perform the 'Phone Other Sims About Party' action on your own phone.

So what are these Ghost Dogs? Again, with only one more Halloween update to come, which should be tomorrow, we are expecting them to crop up and leave us going barking mad...... (Sorry!)
Our thoughts regarding these not so cute, clear puppies is that they will add to the random collection of garden ghouls like the ghost, toads and coffin which when clicked on will provide you with Ingredients such as Trick & Treats, Toads and Glass Eyes to help unlock Haunted Skill Item Levels and Quest objectives.

The Official The Sims Social Facebook Page has left us The Sims Social fans guessing as to what is in store for us tomorrow when the new updates drop. Apparently Bella is getting ready for the event of her life?We know that tomorrow will be the last Halloween update before Littlehaven rids itself of all the ghosts and ghouls because Bella informed us of this around two weeks ago. She also hinted that her sexy Halloween pumpkin dress may be available for all of the female The Sims Social players and with it being the last Halloween update, surely tomorrow is the big day?
Speaking of big day, is that what Bella's big event will be? A Halloween wedding? Hence the pretty dress? Will we be given a brand new neighbour to visit? Will her lucky man be Gustav, as hints to tomorrows quest suggest he will be involved? At the moment it is all speculation, but it's ever so exciting!
