If you purchase the My Ice Lake you will see your House Value rise by a massive 19,050. The interactions however are not so big or impressive with only one interaction available for the owner of this frozen puddle, 'Skate For Fun' will raise your Sims 'Fun' need and will show your avatar gliding around the ice like a prince with a great animation, they will even perform a spinning pirouette.
Neighbours can also enjoy the 'Skate For Fun' action which drops the usual amount of Social Points plus Simoleons but will have the option to 'Show off Moves' which will gather both Neighbours by the pond while your Sim shows off their best Torvill and Dean impressions.
Overall the My Ice Lake has some great animations but it is let down by its limited actions and rewards, of which it drops nothing except an occasional 'Buzz'. We would also have liked to see another need filled as well as 'Fun' to warrant the 129 SimCash price tag.
