So, after all of the worry, panic, frustration and fear a couple of days ago when the 'Ghost Town, quest appeared within players The Sims Social games with a little red 4 days Left timer underneath it, with no sign of the mysterious 'Haunted Mirror'.Well since yesterdays Ultimate Horror Week update it seems all is resolved and the Ghost Town quest is now able to be completed successfully.

First of all the Haunted Mirror was renamed to the 'MSS Mirror of Shame' and can be found in the decorations section of The Sims Social store. In order to complete this quest (which we're sure many of you have already done) you will need this, 'The Haunted Desk' which is another Skill Item and also a 'Haunted TV'. All three of these items are great. The 'MSS Mirror of Shame' allows you to practice your thriller moves, raises Social need by +19 and Sleep by +11 so it's a brilliant item to have anyway. The fourth section of the Ghost Town quest that requires the 'Haunted TV' is great fun, the animations for the TV replicate that classic horror movie The Ring.

We know a lot of players have had a tiny bit of trouble with the difficult seventh part of the Ghost Town quest, which requires you to search the handyman's lost remains and collect skills from Skill Items. To complete this you will need to really work hard to gain levels on both The 'Haunted Easel' Skill Item which we are glad to say now works glitch free and the 'Haunted Desk'. The Skulls are rare but they will drop eventually. Alternatively you can ask your Facebook friends and neighbours to help you out. To search the handyman's shallow grave you must visit your neighbours and click on the spooky things like Toads, Tree Stumps, Ghosts, Coffins, Orbs, Purple Grass or Blue Mushrooms then add three new neighbours and you're all done. Ghost Town quest completed!

Once completed you will receive the Limited Edition Special Item' The MSS Hoojamaflip' which is a really handy item indeed as if you use the action 'Switch On' it will raise your Sleep by +11. That is if you can find a place to keep it after Halloween is over without your The Sims Social house looking a tad odd.
