The big discussion amongst The Sims Social fans this last week aside from the bugs that have bestowed the game since the recent Christmas additions is snow. Will snow officially be released by the developers allowing a glittering frost covered lawn for our Sims to play in?
There has been no official word from Playfish as yet to this addition, however it has been done in many other online Facebook games previously and we understand its not that difficult to implement.
We believe that the recent Holiday Tales Part 1 Quest was a major hint at the forthcoming addition of snow in The Sims Social with the Simch trying his best to stop it. We here at The Sims Social Fansite believe that before the Holiday Tales Quest series ends, one of the Quest completion rewards could well be a soft white underfoot for Littlehaven residents. All we hope is that it comes sooner rather than later so that players get enough time to play with the feature before the holiday season ends, who knows, Thursday update could see the snow feature implemented. If not as a Quest Reward but at least to be purchased through Simoleons or Social Points, we don't think with the recent Facebook rankings drop that EA and Playfish would be foolish enough at add a SimCash cost to this in demand addition.
If you just cannot wait and need to put down some festive flooring that resembles snow, then you can use one of the tiles already in The Sims Social store. The tile 'White Carpet' gives a really good effect and will cost 20 Simoleons per tile, we advise that you do not use the 'Snow' tile as it will show grid lines around it and look more ceramic than that of natural snow.
Are you waiting in anticipation for the addition of snow to The Sims Social online Facebook game? Have you tried the 'White Carpet' tile effect or do you not want snow to arrive at all? We love hearing from you, so please leave a Comment below or share your thoughts with us via our Facebook Page or Twitter.
