In a very strange and sudden twist, Playfish has decided to remove the raising of the 'Social' need from The Holiday Toasting Set and replace it with the ability to raise your 'Hunger' need instead. With a plethora of other items within The Sims Social to raise 'Hunger' the brilliant edge that this champagne cooler had has now been diminished.
So, you may have to dig back out your L.Simnovorii Cow Plant or Aquatix Deluxe Aquarium to boost your 'Social' need without visiting Neighbours or losing Energy. This move has baffled The Sims Social Fansite, but it just proves the saying 'If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is'. We believe the reason behind EA and Playfish removing the rare 'Social' need perk from The Holiday Toasting Set is to keep players visiting Neighbours and friends and to keep the 'Social' in The Sims Social.
