The Sims Social has now been live over Facebook with 5 Million Active Users over the first week. All playing via PC's. But we remember been promised a mobile application from EA at E3 when The Sims Social was initially announced.
Well at Gamescon 2011, Chairman Reynolds said:"Eventually we're going to have a companion app that will give users a better fit for playing the game of java-supported platforms." Reynolds added: "It doesn't buck any of the trends of the free-to-play Facebook model at all. It's actually very familiar to Facebook gamers, but it brings the authenticity and the power of the Sims brand to the platform."
We know previously the developers stated iPhone would be a compatible platform for the java based The Sims Social and now a mention of Android. Which means basically if you have a modern smart phone, you should be free to play The Sims Social online where ever you are, on the move!
