Saturday saw the beginning of The First Ever The Sims Social Sale which offered some of older items and furnishings from the games launch slashed in price. The downside was, that it would be the last time players would be able to buy them as these items would leave the store forever, to make way for new additional items in the future.


The majority of items getting the chop were nothing to get too upset about, however there was a few surprises. Including the Landscape Easel Art Skill Item, the selection of Outdoor Rocks and Trees. Earlier in the week we advised players of The Sims Social to stock up on these items before they expire. It seems however, that the developers at Playfish made a mistake and didn't realise that many of the Sale Items were needed to complete earlier Quests in the game and with there absence, new players would find it impossible to further their gameplay experience and complete the Quests.

Therefore, as of next week (We presume as part of Thursdays update) the following items will return to The Sims Social store yet again:


Selection of Rocks

Trees

Landscape Easel

LookBusy Desk

ZigZag Tables

PhoTotal Recall Painting

Big Apple Print Painting
