A lot of you have been asking us questions and we've tried to find the answers as best as we can. Especially now that everyone is back on the game and everything seems to be working well, here are some FAQs from EA's help site that hint on things to come and answer questions about present and future game play!

"What Are Simoleons, How Can I Earn Them and What Can They Be Spent On?"

"Simoleons are a currency that can be earned by your Sim in various ways, such as competing short tasks, progressing through quests or improving skills. Use them for purchasing items from The Sims Social store.

"Can my Sim die?"

"Currently, your Sim cannot die."

"Can my Sim have more than 1 romantic relationship at once?"

"No, Sims don’t cheat! You will have to break up from your current romantic Sim relationship if you want to start a romance with a different Sim!"

"Does the game allow gambling for Simoleons (casino games)?"

"The game does not allow for gambling."

"I stored my room and now I can't find it. Where is it?"

"For the best place to find your stored rooms, follow these instructions:

Open the SHOP.

Select the STORAGE tab at the top of the shop (the icon with the chest).

Select the ROOMS tab (the very last tab with an icon of a room) on the left of the Storage menu."

"Is it possible to visit other locations like a bar or a bowling alley etc...?"

"Future updates may allow for other locations, so keep on playing ;-)"

"How can I carry on with my Skills?"

"Each Skill item only has a certain amount of skill tasks you can perform. If you've completed them all, try buying a different Skill item from the SHOP."

"Do I own more than one Sim?"

"No, you cannot have more than one Sim per player. Also, Sims cannot have kids."

"I don't like my Sim, how do I change it?"

"If you click on your Sim in their house, you’ll have the option to 'Customize' which will allow you to change your Sim’s name, appearance and clothing. You can also change your Sim’s personality and traits by clicking on ‘Info’ when your Sim is at home."

"Are there professions or careers in the game? Can your Sim go to work?"

"Professions are substituted by a Quest system (ambitions and wishes) which your Sim will be able to complete for various rewards (XP, Collectibles, Moodlets...)"

"What are the five colorful buttons in the middle of my screen?"

"These are your Sim’s Needs - Social, Fun, Hunger, Hygiene, Bladder and Sleep. To make your

Sim happy, try satisfying all these Needs - speak to other Sims, eat, sleep etc."

"Why does the Bladder Need go from Red to Green and my Hygiene need go

Black?"

"Your Sim has wet themselves, better get them in the shower."

"Synchronous or asynchronous?"

"Sims is entirely asynchronous. If I visit your Sim while you are logged on, I will not see the

identical thing you see on your screen."

"Can I sell items for real cash?"

"No, you can’t sell in-game items for real cash. You will be able to sell many in-game items for

Simoleons though, which you can then use to buy some other things."

"What is Sim Cash?"

"Sim Cash is an exclusive Sims Social currency. It can only be used in The Sims Social game.

With it you will be able to buy … special things for your house and Sim, rare furniture and

Collectibles. Pay to complete Quests, unlock new features early. Over time there will be many

more things you can buy with it too!"

"How do I add another room?"

"Click on the ‘Build’ button, select a room size and place in an open space. You can now either

ask for friend help or pay with Sim cash to complete the room; don’t forget to add a door."

"Can I store unwanted items?"

"Yes, either click on the ‘Shop’ or ‘Build’ buttons, left click on the item you want to store and then

left click again, once your mouse is over the inventory."

"I want Sim Cash, what should I do?"

"Sim Cash can be purchased by clicking the ‘Add’ button next to the Sim Cash symbol.

You will then be shown the available payment options based on your location. Follow the onscreen

instructions for your chosen payment option to complete the transaction."

"I tried to buy Sim Cash, but I was not able to complete the transaction, who can help me

with this?"

"For all of your queries regarding billing, please contact the EA Support Team. They will be able to

answer all of your billing questions.

"How can I earn Coins?"

"From skills, completing quests and leveling up your Sim & relationship depth."

"How do I earn XP and level up?"

"From carrying out tasks around house, completing quests and socializing with other Sims."

"How do Quests Work?"

"Quest generate depending on your Sims personality, XP, skill level as well as your cash levels. Simply follow the on screen instructions."

"How do Collectibles work?"

"From performing various interactions in your Sim’s and your friends’ Sims’ houses you will gain Collectibles. You can then use these Collectibles to craft new items and unlock new skills."

"My Sim is refusing to do a task, what is going wrong?"

"This could be a number of things, first check to see if one of your Sim’s needs are red or black; satisfy this or needs before trying again. Your Sim will probably not like the same thing three times in a row, they get bored easily."

"How do I invite my friends to play the game with me?"

"First make sure they are friends with you on Facebook, then once in-game click on the green ‘Add Neighbors’ button at the bottom of the screen. The ‘Add Neighbor’ screen will appear, simply click in the tick box next to your friend and select ‘Send requests’. When you friend visits Facebook next, they will see a request in the top blue bar. After they have accepted the request, entered into the game and created a Sim, they will be added to your

neighborhood."
