During the week of every new item drop in The Sims Social we give a small run down of what we believe to be the best purchases to add to your virtual online Facebook game world. This week we've had two pretty sizeable drops, earlier in the week with the FutuRist Bathroom set and today with the beautiful modern Astonish set.
Firstly let us tell you what just missed out on our The Sims Social Fansite Picks. The FutuRist Relief and FutuRist Rinse would sit well in a bathroom with Zecutime Tranquility (The first Special Item Bath ever avaiable) however this whole set would set you back $79 SimCash. The best Fridge to be introduced into our favourite social game on the net was available from today The Spectral 5000 LX would set you back also another $79 SimCash and +5 Hunger and +1 Mood, however we believe it lacks in style and for the price doesnt hold up to the orange 'More To Like' Llamark Chillblast Fall.
We've seen quite an increase in prices for items this week, but I guess you get what you pay for, as the majority of the Astonish furniture is quite simply beautiful. With the problems revolving the the 'Circle' decoration we've dropped that from our Fansite Picks and the very expensive Astonish Ember Fireplace just couldn't live up to it's price tag either! Below are our favourites, based on style, worth, value, originality and perks:

Of course this is only our opinion and very subjective but their is definitely nothing else in The Sims Social shop like the above and they won't damage your pocket too much either. We especially love the 'Tripod Stand' plant, 'PaperClipped Glo' table, Astonish Emperor Bed and the first ever double doors for your Sims pad with the 'Intraria Jet Twin'. Do you agree with our Fansite Picks this week? What would you have picked instead? Do you think some of the items this drop are a tad expensive? Let us know as usual in our comments below, Facebook Page.
