150 Gold Simeoleons Compensation for Downtime

This is very good news for most and very annoying news for others. Apparently The Sims Social developers Playfish have been sending out emails to players affected by the 'Stuck at 65%' problem for the last week or so. This email contains 150 Gold Simoleons as compensation and to allow players to catch up to those not affected. We don't necessarily agree with this, as all in all, the game is free to play and therefore EA don't need to compensate anyone and the sheer House Value for items worth 150 Gold Simoleons is very generous. Maybe if this was only roled out to 'Real Cash' purchasing players who had a valid reason to be annoyed for the downtime. Let us know your thoughts either via Facebook or in the comments below.


Also players who's whole game has been reset and must restart the game are to be awarded 2500 Gold Simoleons 'Sim Cash'


We have been told by official sources that this email is genuine and will be sent to everyone affected within the next few days, please don't worry if you haven't recieved it straight away as there are many players in the que to get this offer.
