It's the most wonderful time of the year, and the Thanksgiving turkey hasn't even been served yet! Whether you're waiting for the big game or waiting on the oven to stop catching the food on fire, the holidays have come in to the Sims Social whether you like it or not (although, we're pretty sure you'll like it).


Candy canes and ornaments have littered the lawn and are the newest ingredients, which hints at new items to build or Christmas-skills to unlock. Some elvish shoes have also appeared into our Sim neighborhood. Lastly, adding on to the Christmas spirit is packs of energy, social points, and simoleons that are only available for you to send to specific friends. You're only able to give one per friend, but it's a present they'll be extremely thankful for.


But the best present from the developers at the start of this giving season is the increase in storage. That's right, you can now hold up to 550 items! It may not be much, but it's a start, especially since a lot of the beginning items are leaving the game. For now, I advise you to check which items are leaving the shops and stock up on your favorites before they are gone, because you'll never know when they'll come back or if they'll come back at all.
