The battle between EA and Zynga continues. This week The Sims Social still stands strong in its second place spot of the most popular online social games on Facebook with a now very healthy 60 Million Active Players which is a +8 Million gain since last week. This also means the developers owe us a promised FREE! gift for hitting the 60 Million mark, we'll bring you more information on that when we get it.

CityVille by rivals Zynga still holds the top spot, but only by +12 Million Active Players and with The Sims Socials amazingly rapid growth, we don't think it will be long until The Sims Social grabs the crown as the top Facebook game around. Especially since CityVille has dropped players over the last week. This indeed is great news for our favourite Facebook game.
