The New Country Kitchen Collection

Are we going to see a new items drop or new set every Thursday in The Sims Social? As it was only last Thursday since the Astonish collection hit The Sims Social store. This week it was the turn the 'Country Kitchen' collection, which in all fairness is very similar to the previous 'Cottage' collection. So maybe you could have a little mix and match to create something very unique. The Country Kitchen Collection brings 38 brand new items to place into your The Sims Social online virtual gaming world. So let's get looking at what is available to purchase with your hard earned SimCash, Simoleons and Social Points:

In all fairness to the developers, it seems the negative feedback from players across Facebook regarding the very high prices of the previous 'Astonish' collection has been taken into account and all of this weeks items are relatively cheap, but mainly costing Social Points or SimCash, only 5 are available to purchase with Simoleons. With a good selection of Tiles, Wallpapers, Decorations and Cabinets. We particularly like the 'Cereal Shelf', 'Vintage Wines' and 'Perfecto Fruitbowl' in the decorations catergory. What we have noticed is the rustic blue Oven / Cooker in the promotional screenshot has not been made available as yet.

We won't be having a The Sims Social Fansite 'Fansite Picks' post this week as there is not many stand out items in our opinion throughout the whole of this collection, but we do like the 'G King Counter' but we're sure the 15,000 Social Points price tag (Around $14 real money) it's a tad on the expensive side but does add a whopping 21250 House Value and is a Cooking Skill Item! The 'SuxDelux' Extraction Fan is a real steal for only 1,250 (SP) Along with the various stylish windows similar to the 'Astonish' ones but brown. A nice new touch is the '19th Century Window' which comes with some fancy curtains for 39 SimCash and providing 5750 House Value. The rest of the items are a bit too similar to the 'Cottage' Collection.
