As predicted, yesterday saw the drop of what we believe to be the first of maybe two or three Halloween Item Collections in The Sims Social online Facebook game. There is a lot of items in this update. Some spooktacular and some a little batish! As usual we here at The Sims Social Fansite will give you a run down of what's hot and what's not in this The Sims Social 'Werewolves vs Vampires' Fansite Picks Update. This week we have a full 98 Halloween items to digest.
Just missing out on our 'Fansite Picks' are the new old gothic wallpapers like the 'UndyingClassics EX' which we love, also 'Iron Rails' fencing but at a cost of 4 SimCash per rail plus 7 SimCash for each corner rail we think it may be a little too expensive to border your The Sims Social Halloween holiday home, becuase that is the one little problem we have found with wanting to purchase some of these special Halloween items, that unless they are of a fair value/price and can be used outside of the Halloween period in our normal everyday houses, that it seems a little of a waste of our hard earned Simoleons.
We must admit that EA haven't been too greedy this time around, with a lot of cheaper items available in The Sims Social store this week, however the top items still require a lot of SimCash. The 'Trans-Van Vlad' round black table is also a nice addition to any hallway and for 600 Simoleons it's a steal. The 'UndyingClassics BT' food trolleys are certainly a unique addition to The Sims Social but they missed out on our 'Fansite Picks' by just not adding anything much more than originality for 25 SimCash and +3700 House Value.
So what do we believe are the top Halloween items to drop into The Sims Social this spooky week?
We have quite a few smaller items in our selection for the reasons stated above, including the 'Rotten Fence', 'Wallpaper Tear' which we believe is an awesome touch and the cool 'Bootle O' Blood' which can be hid in a busy kitchen sneakily all year round for a fun feel. The big item for everyone will be the new Skill Item, the 'Haunted Easel' for a very very reasonable 750 Social Points and adding extra skill levels and 2100 House Value it's definitely this weeks top item. If you've got a few SimCash stored up in your virtual bank the the 'Creature of the Pond' might be a valuable way to spend it, adding +11 Sleep and adding a very animated aspect to your previous summer garden with the 'Crow Tree' sitting very nicely alongside it.
We'll be providing you with an update regarding the 149 SimCash 'Cosy Crypt' later in the week when we find out it's features in full.
